Selected papers will be published in (if accepted by journal editor) Marine Biology Research (International Journal; Taylor & Francis Publisher; ISSN: 1745-1000 [Print] – 1745-1019 [Online]).

All unaccepted presented papers in the journal will be published in Seminar Proceedings  (soft copy form will be sent via email; hard copy will be charged USD 20,- [IDR 270,000])

Seminar Registration

Registrations are now open. All presenters must register online by downloading the Registration Form and submit it to the Seminar’s Secretariat via e-mail before 15 Sep 2016 (extended). Onsite registration can be done on the first day of the Seminar (28 Sep 2016; extended) for participants with no presentation only.

Call for Presenters

We are looking for:

• Oral (a 15-minute presentation plus 5 minutes for questions) presentation; and
• Poster presentation

to present research findings and scientific review related to the seminar topics.  Each presentation should be registered online by completing this Presentation Form (please, klik to open the form) or klik the picture below. In case you got problem in this procedure, please do not hesitate to contact the Seminar’s Secretariat.

1. All accepted presenters must register for the seminar

3. The Seminar Committee will not pay honoraria, or expenses for presenters

Tropical Aquatic Resources Science and Management

Theme:

Enhancing sustainable environmental resources management: poverty alleviation and climate adaptation strategies in Indonesia

Background:

Nowadays the development has leaded to a tremendous pressure to the tropical marine resources.  Researchers are working hard to undertake and promote ecological education, research and extension in order to sustain and continue the management of marine resources. In many parts of the tropical countries, problem and constraint in managing the resources have become urgent issue that need to be addressed. The well-being of the people in the coastal areas is the center of effective and highly developed management approach as well as application of relevant knowledge and technology in tropical marine resources management.  Excellent integrated approach to serve as an instrument for the attainment of a balanced management of the tropical marine resources for the present and future generations is a must.

The rapid deterioration of coastal marine resources spurred the implementation of the Ecosystem Approach Fisheries Management (EAFM) program. Its major objective is to come up with a holistic tropical coastal resources management science to answer the needs for environmental-friendly development. And therefore this seminar on Tropical Marine Resources Management and Science was designed to focus on eco-hydrological system (including the rehabilitation of degraded agricultural water and lands), erosion control & water security, integrated coastal zone management, biodiversity assessment & conservation and protection and restoration of coastal habitats with focus on the proper management of fisheries and agriculture. 

Objectives:

Educators and researchers, policy makers, and practitioners are invited to:

• Update and share research findings on environmental sciences & management;
• Discuss current environmental policy and management programs;
• Establish a network on tropical aquatic resource management in Indonesia;
• Enhance public involvement on environmental management.

Topics:

In accordance with the theme and the objectives of the seminar, following is the topics of the seminar:

1. Sustainable Fisheries: Blue economy, Ecosystem Approach Fisheries Management (EAFM), Aquaculture, Friendly Fishing Technology, Integrated Multi-trophic Aquaculture.
2. Tropical Coastal Zone Management: Marine Protected Area (MPA), Coastal Ecosystem Management, Marine Pollution and Mitigation, Ecosystem Services, Coastal Indigenous Resilience.
3. Eco-hydrology: Sustainable Agricultural Practices, Wastewater Management, Water Security, Flood and Drought, Seawater Intrusion.

PROSEDUR PENDAFTARAN SECARA ONLINE

Pendaftaran Peserta Calon Mahasiswa Baru (PCMB) dilakukan secara ONLINE dengan prosedur sebagai berikut:

1. Peserta Calon mahasiswa baru (PCMB) mendaftar secara online di Laman: http://pmbpasca.unsrat.ac.id/daftar. Di sini, PCMB akan mendapat NOMOR dan PIN Pendaftaran.
2. Dengan menggunakan NOMOR (sebagai username) dan PIN (sebagai password) Pendaftaran, PCMB melakukan pembayaran di Bank BRI sejumlah Rp250.000.
3. Selesai melakukan pembayaran, PCMB mengisi BIODATA secara online di LAMAN: http://pmbpasca.unsrat.ac.id.
4. Membawa bukti pembayaran dan dokumen/berkas fisik administrasi lainnya ke Bagian Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru atau PS. Ilmu Perairan (di Pascasarjana, Gedung B, Lantai 2), Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, UNSRAT; dan akan menerima formulir dan informasi lanjut untuk pelaksanaan seleksi (Ujian Tulis/wawancara).

INFORMASI PENERIMAAN MAHASISWA BARU

 

A.     PERSYARATAN

• Memiliki ijasah sarjana atau sederajat dengan IPK > 2,75 dari perguruan tinggi yang terakreditasi oleh Kemenristekdikti;
• Pemegang ijasah sarjana dari bidang ilmu yang sesuai atau berkaitan dengan program studi yang akan diikuti;
• Memiliki kemahiran berbahasa Inggris  (TOEFL >450 atau IELTS >5);
• Memiliki Nilai Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) >400;
• Lulus seleksi masuk yang dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan (FPIK) UNSRAT.

 
B.     TAHAPAN PENERIMAAN 
Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru melalui 4 (empat) tahap, yaitu:
– Tahap I         : Pendaftaran Calon Manasiswa Baru
– Tahap II        : Seleksi Mahasiswa Baru: Ujian Tulis/Wawancara
– Tahap III       : Pengumuman Hasil Seleksi
– Tahap IV       : Pendaftaran kembali sebagai Mahasiswa Baru
 

C.     PROSEDUR PENERIMAAN

• Melakukan Pendaftaran Awal sebagai Peserta Calon Mahasiswa Baru (PCMB) dengan melakukan 2 hal, yaitu: (1) mendaftar  secara Online (lihat “Prosedur Pendaftaran Secara Online”); dan (2) Memasukkan berkas (masing-masing rangkap 3) sbb.:
        – Lamaran secara tertulis (mengisi Formulir Pendaftaran [FORM-MB1]);
        – Salinan ijasah & transkrip akademik (dilegalisir);
        – Surat Keterangan Sehat dari dokter pemerintah;
        – Surat Keterangan Berkelakuan Baik dari POLRI;
        – Passfoto (hitam putih; ukuran 3×4; 6 lembar).

• Mengikuti Seleksi Mahasiswa Baru (Ujian Tulis/Wawancara).
• Lulus seleksi.
• Melakukan Pendaftaran Kembali sebagai Peserta Mahasiswa Baru (PMB) dengan melengkapi berkas sbb:

              – Daftar riwayat hidup (FORM-MB2);
              – Surat keterangan jaminan pembayaran studi.
 

D.     CARA PENGAJUAN BERKAS
Pengajuan berkas, baik untuk Pendaftaran Awal maupun Pendaftaran Kembali, dapat dilakukan melalui 4 (empat) cara sebagai berikut:
        1. Mendatangi Bagian Akademik atau PS Ilmu Perairan, FPIK, UNSRAT.
        2. Mengirimkan melalui pos.
        3. Mengirimkan melalui faksimile.
        4. Mengirimkan melalui surat elektronik (surel) secara online.

Petunjuk, sebagai berikut:

1. Mendatangi Kantor Bagian Akademik atau PS Ilmu Perairan, FPIK, UNSRAT: seluruh berkas diajukan dalam map berwarna biru laut .
2. Mengirimkan melalui pos: seluruh berkas dalam map berwarna biru laut dikirim ke alamat: Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Jl. Kampus UNSRAT Bahu, Manado 95115.
3. Mengirimkan melalui faksimile: berkas difaksimile ke No. Fax: (0431) 868027.
4. Mengirimkan melalui surel secara online: seluruh berkas (file dalam bentuk PDF) dikirim ke alamat surel: magister.ilmuperairan@unsrat.ac.id / kaproipa.pascaunsrat@yahoo.com. 

PERHATIAN: Cara (2), (3), atau (4) dapat dilakukan untuk Pendaftaran Awal dengan ketentuan bahwa semua “hardcopy” berkas pendaftaran dan lampirannya sudah diterima sebelum pelaksanaan Seleksi Mahasiswa Baru (Ujian Tulis/Wawancara).

E.     BIAYA PENDIDIKAN
Biaya pendidikan sebesar Rp 7 juta per semester (apabila ada perubahan, akan disampaikan kemudian).

F.     TEST TPA
Setiap peserta calon mahasiswa baru wajib lulus TPA (Nilai >400). Pendaftaran untuk mengikuti TPA dilakukan dengan cara mengisi formulir yang disediakan. Proses pendaftaran akan dibantu oleh petugas.
